Willie Tyler & Lester
Willie Tyler is an American ventriloquist, comedian, singer, and actor. Most of the time he works with his partner, Lester. He has appeared in countless television commercials, sitcoms, and movies. He got his first big break in the early 1960s as the MC of the Motorcity Revue. In 1972 he attained national prominence after joining the regular cast of, Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.
In the 1970s Willie and Lester worked in Las Vegas and toured the country with some of the most exciting performers of the 20th Century.
Sammy Davis, Jr, Ann-Margaret, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Frank Sinatra, and many more!
During that time he became a frequent guest star on television shows and as a guest on the newly popular talk shows.
He became one of the first regular performers at, The Comedy Store, in Los Angeles. It is the club that is credited with starting the Stand-up revolution.
Willie has been entertaining audiences for over 40 years and he's still doing it!
